Rewalk in the Forest

Aqui está mais uma criação em que a inspiração veio de um passeio pela floresta. #‎2016PCChallenge

Portugal tem mais de um terço do seu território coberto com florestas e bosques. Na floresta podemos encontrar de tudo, paisagens únicas,  um sem-número de vidas. Antigamente, a floresta  iluminou-nos, aqueceu-nos, abrigou-nos e alimentou-nos, tanto com as  suas espécies, como com os seus frutos, bagas, cogumelos.

Here is another pendant where the inspiration came from a walk through the forest.
Portugal has more than one third of its territory covered with forests and woodlands. In the forest we can find everything, unique landscapes, countless lives. In the old times, forest fed us both with its species, as with its fruits, berries, mushrooms, lit, heated and sheltered.

‪Um passeio na floresta foi o ponto de partida para a inspiração deste mês ‪#‎2016PCChallenge. É interessante observar todas as formas que por lá existem, desde os mais variados tipos de árvores, cogumelos, plantas, flores. Todos estes elementos nos surpreendem de uma forma agradável, não existindo nada melhor para restabelecer energia e criatividade.

A walk in the forest was the starting point for inspiration this month. It is interesting to note all forms  there are, from all kinds of trees, mushrooms, plants, flowers. All these elements surprises us in a pleasant way and there is nothing better to restore energy and creativity.

‪Polymerclay Challenge

Este Ano, no inicio de Janeiro, resolvi aderir a um convite para participar num desafio que consiste em efectuar uma peça por semana durante um ano em massa polímera. Achei interessante, pois iria por á prova quer as minhas capacidades criativas, como também seria uma forma de poder aprender técnicas novas. Ao aderir, propus-me fazer um medalhão por semana, variando o tema todos os meses. Dei inicio a esta aventura com um tema histórico em que os medalhões seriam inspirados nas talhas douradas das antigas Igrejas, bem como nas joias que surgem nos mais diversos quadros de museus.

This year, at the beginning of January, I decided to accept an invitation to participate in a challenge to make a art piece a week for a year in polymerclay. I found it very interesting because it would test  my creative abilities, as would also be a way to be able to learn new techniques. By adhering I challenged myself to do a pendent a week, varying the theme every month. I started this adventure with an historical theme where these pendants were inspired by the golden carvings of the ancient Churches as well as on jewels that come in various museum paintings.
